SOS works with local tour guides and guest houses as well as international tour operators and volunteer placement organizations, to increase the financial benefits of turtle conservation to the community and to encourage the spread of ‘turtle friendly’ practices and policies on and off the beach.  We encourage visitors to be part of the solution by familiarizing themselves with the turtlewatching tips and guidelines and contacting us in advance of your visit for the most up to date list of SOS trained turtle watching guides and turtle-friendly places to stay… some recommendations can be found on the resources page.
